Whipped Lotions - Lavish Skin Care Mousse
We Are Thrilled to finally offer a line of whipped skin care creams we call Body Mousse. Our research has brought to market an excellent moisturizing and repair skin cream loaded with oils and butters sure to please! The presentation is very upscale in wide mouth, low profile, heavy walled clear plastic jars with tamper evident inner seal. The basics for all our Body mousses include Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil. Other lavish moisturizing oils and butters blended in specific lotions are Kukui Nut Oil, and Mango, Cocoa and Aloe Butters. The whipped texture of these lotions absorb very readily, with just a small dab going a long way. Our emulsifying wax is vegetable based, never petroleum, and we add a small, appropriate amount of preservative to protect our whipped lotions.
Our Whipped Lotions Debuted at the Hof Winter Festival here in our home town. The early reviews are most gratifying. We sold out of Verbena, and most of the Foot Mousse was purchased - no doubt by energetic Bavarian polka dancers! Our beekeeper uses it every workday morning after a brisk shower with Jamaica Bay handmade soap. All our whipped skin creams come in the standard 4oz jar. Oh sure, they all take a pretty photograph. However, the real story is how good they work for you and the skin you are in!

Kukui Mousse - a soft and tropical fragrance.
Kukui Mousse is our top of the line offering. Hundreds of years ago, Hawaiians discovered that when the shells were removed from Kukui nuts and the kernels lightly roasted clear oil could be pressed out. This was an excellent penetrating oil that when smoothed on the skin soothed and softened sunburns and irritations. Newborn babies were bathed in this easily absorbed oil. This treasured health and beauty secret has been included in our best Whipped Skin Cream - Kukui Mousse. Pamper the skin you are in Aloha style!

Foot Mousse - refreshing peppermint therapy.
Foot Mousse is a great new product with your feet in mind. In fact, we describe it as "Desert For Your Feet". It features Peppermint Essential Oil which is widely used on the feet in Massage Therapy. Even men will use and enjoy this lotion. Used regularly, Foot Mousse will help prevent those unsightly callouses which can seem to require a belt sander to remove. Our Beekeeper uses Foot Mousse often and loves it! In addition to moisturizing dry skin, Foot Mousse produces a refreshing "walking on air" sensation. You will love it too!

Verbena Mousse - bright with notes of citrus & herbs.
As crisp as freshly folded linen! Lemon verbena, or Aloysia triphylla is an aromatic shrub native to Argentina and Chile. Also known as herb Louisa, it was named after Maria Louisa, Princess of Parma in 1819. In Gone with the Wind, lemon verbena is mentioned as Scarlet O'Hara's mother's favorite plant. We have taken this olde time favorite to a new level with the addition of our own fragrance notes. The early reviews at our live shows have been 2 thumbs up! As always, when fragrance is added, it is with a light touch, and the lotion base is rich with moisturizing butters and oils like Jojoba, Shea & Aloe.
| Honey Mousse - light honey & oatmeal fragrance.
Our Honey Mousse is destined to be a Millcreek Valley Farm favorite! Honey has long been known for its skin care properties and since we know a beekeeper, we blended in a dollop of fresh Millcreek Valley Farm honey to an already lavish lotion with wonderful results! As with all our Whipped Skin Creams, the fragrance is light and fresh . . . just a whisp of oatmeal and honey with no added color. You are going to enjoy this skin cream for both its moisturizing properties and the unique experience it brings to your skin care regimen. A fabulous treat for the senses and the body. Enjoy!

Beeswax Based Solid Lotion Bars
Beeswax Has Been used since ancient times; traces of it were found in the paintings in the Lascaux cave and in Egyptian mummies. Egyptians used it in shipbuilding as well. In the Roman period, beeswax was used as waterproofing agent for painted walls and as a medium for the Fayum mummy portraits. Nations subjugated by Rome sometimes paid tribute or taxes in beeswax. In the Middle Ages beeswax was considered valuable enough to become a form of currency.
Today Beeswax is a mainstay in natural lip balms and lotions, and it doesn't take much currency to have some for yourself! Our Bee Butter Bars are not only carefully made with the best ingredients available, they are very upscale in their presentation.

About Our Ingredients . . . . the list is short and sweet. Beeswax
- we supplement what our hives produce with local, unbleached beeswax. Mango Butter - Mango Butter has beneficial moisturizing properties for lotions and acts as a mild lubricant for the skin. Shea Butter - is an all-natural source of vitamin A. Shea Butter has shown to be a superb moisturizer, with exceptional rejuvenating properties for the skin.
Sweet Almond Oil - This wonderful oil is rich in vitamins including vitamin E It is useful for all skin types, although it is particularly indicated for dry, sensitive, inflamed or prematurely aged skin. Olive Oil - Olive oil absorbs UV radiation and is soothing and healing to all skin types, hence its wide use in soaps, cosmetics and massage oils.
Avocado Oil - yields a rich and extremely deep penetrating oil, rich in vitamins A, D and E, lecithin, as well as potassium - known as the youth mineral. It is also high in sterolins, which are reputed to reduce age spots, help heal sun damage and scars. It is the sterolins (also called plant steroids) in the oil that helps to soften the skin and imparts a superior moisturizing effect.
Jojoba Oil - Jojoba oil serves as an excellent moisturizing agent with exceptional spread. The lubrication properties leave a rich velvety non-oily feel on the skin, while retarding water loss and enhancing the flexibility and suppleness of the skin.
When we use color, it is vegetable based and from a trusted source. Our Fragrance and Essential Oils are used sparingly in some products, and likewise purchased from carefully chosen vendors.
